LiFeBATT Ltd is the European sales, technical support and integration R & D centre for LiFeTECH Energy Inc of Taiwan. Our staff are all highly qualified battery and electronics specialists. Most have vast practical experience with EV's and other battery projects. We operate several EV's in our company fleet and use these to test new products, battery systems, integration products etc.

Our team is able to provide full technical support to our customers accross Europe, from our R&D and distribution centre in the UK..

The battery technology manufactured by LiFeTECH Energy Inc of Taiwan, is all based on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology. LiFePO4 was developed by Dr. John Goodenough's research group at the University of Texas in 1997. The patent was licensed exclusively to Hydro-Québec, who set up Phostech Lithium Inc to conduct further research into the commercialisation of LiFePO4. In 2005 Süd-Chemie of Germany invested in Phostec hLithium and in 2008 became the sole shareholder.

Phostech Lithium Inc now manufacture and license the high grade Lithium cathode materials used in our cells. LiFeTECH Energy Inc are fully licensed by the patent holder Phostech Lithium Inc, Canada.
